The beginning
Natwarlal Thakkar
Every legacy begins with a humble step. Ours began with Natwarlal Thakkar’s small shop specialising in khaman and dhokla. With hard work, dedication and a deep connection to food, he laid the foundation of our family’s journey, built on the belief that food brings people together and creates lasting memories.

The vision
Yogesh Natwarlal Thakkar · Founder
Having learned under his father, Yogesh carried the tradition forward with a vision of his own. He began with a food truck named Shivam, grew from small catering events into a growing enterprise, and in 1998 established Shivam Caterers, a business dedicated to quality food, customer satisfaction and memorable celebrations.

The next chapter
Vansh Thakkar
Today the third generation carries the legacy forward. Vansh Thakkar, son of Yogesh Thakkar, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts from the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), Manipal. He brings formal culinary education, modern techniques and a fresh perspective, respecting the values the family built its name on while exploring new culinary possibilities.
